One of the main factors affecting our market is demand. Demand is the consumer's desire to purchase and the willingness to pay a specific price. And what drives demand for the Coast? To start with, most of the world would like to live in Canada. They love our relative freedom, prosperity, and unspoiled environment – BC, in particular. And many would say that the Sunshine Coast has the very best BC has to offer. Buyers like our weather (most of the time), the semi-rural lifestyle, the larger lots, and the spectacular natural environment. They love our fresh air, our beaches, our peace and quiet, and our ocean views. And even though prices have doubled in the past 6 years or so, we’re still more affordable than Vancouver. These are the factors driving demand for the Sunshine Coast and the reason we feel confident in the vitality of our real estate market, now and into the future.
